I bought this Bosch unit to replace my Dewalt, which lasted me a few good years. I had a Porter before that. This Bosch works fairly well, is quieter than the others, and produces less vibration on my hands than previous units. Also, the dust collection is better.All of that said, I would go back to the Dewalt or Porter if I could. This is a great tool. I never had one with this odd shaped paper face (it is not the rectangle that we're used to.) But it is easy to change papers. It doesn't fail like my "older" model which had clips to hole the paper.
