It's exactly as described: folded cardboard. But it works as I'd hoped. It arrived undamaged, and I covered it with contact paper/peel and stick wallpaper. Works great, and looks good!

Great quality, easy assembly, clear instructions. An intuitive cat house design with the Velcro and one piece item. I will say I’ve had ones that last a bit longer with my bunnies chewing at it but they were able to chomp almost all of this one in 2 days. True to dimensions listed, and honestly a decent price for what you get quality wise.

I read all the reviews before purchasing the 3 tier bookcase and decided to take my chances. I can honestly say that I didn't have any of the issues I read about some customers having.Both sides of the shelves are painted. The black screws provided for my black shelves are metal. I didn't receive anything plastic to assemble it with aside from the gadget that serves as a guide for the nails on the back panel. I didn't have issues with the wood splitting. A joke for the price. 51 dollars? More like 15 dollars. It literally is a piece of cardboard folded in 3 or 4 or whatever sections. There is NO standing support except for how far out you extend it and hope it doesn’t blow over. The folds are creased poorly at the seams. I returned mine. Absolutely the cheapest junk I’ve ever brought and at 51 dollars the makers are holding their stomachs laughing all the way to the bank.

Cute house, it’s stayed together and my cat that I bought it for hardly leaves it. For sure built for small cats. Perfect for napping or for shy cats that like to feel safe in tight spots. Super easy to put together.

The mailboxes were a good size and a I like that there were 30. However, the outer support was bent making the mailboxes line up unevenly and sag. The directions were not so clear either. I had to google a youtube video to put it together.I am updating my review. A short time after I have set it up in my classroom the side is already torn. And since it does not sit nicely I lose the three top mailboxes. I was really happy with this purchase the first time I bought this, but this one is not
