This is one of the easiest bookshelves that I've ever put together. There aren't a ton of pieces or steps and it comes together very quickly. I would recommend having someone help you just because it is a larger and heavier bookshelf. This item came in perfect condition, very well packed. It has no flaws, is very solid and took literally 5 minutes to put the legs on it. The only negative is, as others have mentioned, the stain does have a strong kind of chemical smell.
